Leeds Light Night 2020 Is Set To Go Ahead This Week

Despite the new coronavirus restrictions, the annual Light Night in Leeds is still going ahead this year, with the seven locations of the lasers revealed.

Because of the socially distant requirements of this year's Light Night, the event will be run online and give viewers the chance to take charge and control the lights themselves using a phone or tablet.

Viewers will be able to direct the colour, direction and pattern of the lights' movements online and watch the show through a stream.

The event is composed of several laser shows that run across the city, with captivating performances by local, national and international artists. The event is free and uses both large scale projectors and interactive installations to create a spectacular laser display which can be seen for miles.
