‘Power Be You’ is a message of empowerment that encourages listeners to engage and embrace their inner strength whilst highlighting ongoing systemic oppression and the importance and power of homegrown communities and local networks to make a change.

His genre-bending sound is rooted in UK hip hop and infused with elements of dub, jazz and electronics as he follows in the footsteps of other UK Afrofuturist rappers like Little Simz and Kojey Radical with an unmistakable tone and flow reminiscent of UK hip hop pioneer Roots Manuva

Already enjoying support from BBC Introducing Sheffield and Amazing Radio who recently handed him a one-off show, the start of the year sees Franz Von gearing up for a follow-up single and EP scheduled for the Spring.
