London-based artist Bradley Jago returns with his second EP ‘My Inner Vitriol’ — a deeply introspective six-track release that blends soul, pop and subtle R&B into a raw exploration of the inner self.
Out now via APOLLO Distribution, the project sees Jago turn inward, unpacking intrusive thoughts, self-doubt and the complexities of queer love. Built around piano-led arrangements and delicate string sections, the EP creates space for his voice to shine — controlled, powerful and emotionally charged.
At its core, ‘My Inner Vitriol’ is exactly what its title suggests: a candid reflection of internal dialogue. “I made this EP as a way to process unspoken thoughts,” Jago explains, describing a period where he grappled with distinguishing between intrusive and real emotions, particularly within the context of a relationship.
The result is a body of work that feels both deeply personal and widely relatable, touching on themes of low self-worth, vulnerability and emotional conflict. Across tracks like ‘I Forgot’, ‘In The End’ and ‘Killer Queen’, alongside new cuts ‘You Let Go’, ‘Burn’ and the title track, Jago builds a narrative that’s as cohesive as it is emotionally expansive.
Already earning praise for its honesty and depth — with support from BBC Introducing and tastemaker outlets — the EP further cements Jago’s place in a new wave of artists redefining modern soul through a queer lens.
With ‘My Inner Vitriol’, Jago doesn’t just wear his heart on his sleeve — he dissects it, questions it, and invites listeners to do the same.
