Gorillaz Announce New Album and Upcoming Live Streamed Performances

Gorillaz have released a new track featuring The Cure's Robert Smith. 'Strange Timez' is the title track from their new album 'Song Machine: Season One: Strange Timez', and comes with an accompanying music video that follows the fictionAL characters of the band as they travel to the moon. This eery, left field voyage through space sees Robert Smith's pained, theatrical vocals fuse with the Gorillaz' eccentric and beautifully unpredictable production style.

The 'Song Machine' series has seen an impressive array of artists get on board this year, including slowthai, Slaves, Octavian, Peter Hook and more. The full 17 track album will be released on 23rd October, and will include additioonal featurs from Kano, St Vincent, Elton John, and Beck.

Also to look forward to is 'Song Machine Live'; a live performance broadcast scheduled for the 12th and 13th December
