Hard-Fi to Headline Harlequins’ Big Summer Kick-Off in Twickenham Showstopper

Southwest London is set for a seismic collision of sport and sound this May, as Hard-Fi are confirmed to headline Big Summer Kick-Off at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham on Saturday 16 May.

Fresh from announcing their first studio album in 15 years, Sweating Someone Else’s Fever (out 19 June), the Staines-upon-Thames-formed indie heavyweights are returning to their roots for a huge pre-match set that promises to shake the stands before a ball is even kicked.

More than 60,000 fans are expected to pack into the Home of England Rugby as Harlequins take on Exeter Chiefs in a blockbuster Premiership clash. England internationals including Marcus Smith, Fin Baxter and Chandler Cunningham-South are all set to feature — but the entertainment kicks off long before the first whistle.

Hard-Fi will bring a setlist stacked with era-defining anthems, from Hard to Beat to Living for the Weekend, channelling the raw energy that made Stars of CCTV a defining album of mid-2000s British indie. Frontman Richard Archer called the show a full-circle moment: playing Twickenham just “two stops on the train” from where it all began.

Now in its fifth year, Big Summer Kick-Off has cemented itself as one of rugby’s standout days out — a hybrid of elite sport, live music and festival-style entertainment. And the party doesn’t end at full-time: fan-favourite live band Massaoke will keep the crowd going in the West Fan Village post-match.

With tickets starting from £35 for adults and £20 for under-18s, this is shaping up to be more than just a game — it’s a full-throttle launch into summer.

Rugby. Music. 60,000 voices. Twickenham is ready.

Tickets for Big Summer Kick-Off are on general sale now, starting from £35 for adults and £20 for under-18s. Don’t miss your chance to be part of one of the standout events of the season.
