Turnover announces biggest UK and European tour to date, including two nights at London’s Electric Ballroom

Turnover have announced their biggest UK and European headline tour to date, with the Virginia band set to return next spring for a run of shows in support of their newly released sixth album Down On Earth.

The tour kicks off at Festsaal Kreuzberg in Berlin on 9th March before winding through Cologne, Tilburg, Antwerp and Paris, then heading to the UK for dates in Glasgow, Manchester and Bristol. The run will wrap with two London headline shows at Electric Ballroom on 19th and 20th March, marking the band’s biggest capital dates to date.

The newly announced run arrives just weeks after Turnover released Down On Earth, the first fully independent album of their career. Out now, the record finds the band pushing into a new phase — one shaped by four years of writing, reworking and improvising together, and designed to capture the fluid, expansive feel of their live show.

Described by the band as one of their most collaborative records yet, Down On Earth was created with longtime front-of-house engineer Zac Montez, with Turnover pulling together ideas, riffs and lyrics developed across a period of major personal and creative change. The result is a record that folds together different corners of the band’s sound across the last decade while opening the door to something looser, more lived-in and more fully realised.

The UK and European dates will be followed by a busy run of US shows over the summer, including festival appearances at Governor’s Ball and Bonnaroo, plus a support slot with Coheed and Cambria at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and an appearance at Neverender Festival later in the year.
