The Red Clay Strays Celebrate Their Rise With New Album Grateful

Fresh off being named Group of the Year at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, Alabama roots-rock favourites The Red Clay Strays have released their highly anticipated third studio album, Grateful. Out now via HBYCO Records/RCA Records, the 11-track collection finds the six-piece band reflecting on the remarkable journey that has taken them from local venues in Mobile, Alabama to sold-out arenas across the globe. Blending Southern rock, country, soul and gospel influences, Grateful serves as both a celebration of how far they've come and a testament to the faith that has guided them through every stage of their career.

Produced once again by nine-time Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb, the album showcases the band's signature ability to move seamlessly between heartfelt balladry and explosive roots-rock anthems. Highlights include fan-favourite singles "People Hatin'", "Demons In Your Choir", "If I Didn't Know You", and the stirring title track.

To coincide with the album's release, the band have also unveiled a striking new music video for "Do Today", directed by Matthew Coleman. The visual centres around an improvisational dance performance from Sarah Allen, mirroring the emotional intensity and sweeping atmosphere of the song.

Speaking about the album's central message, frontman Brandon Coleman explained that Grateful completes a thematic journey that began with the band's earlier records. "Moment of Truth was about having faith in dark times, while Made By These Moments was about realising those struggles shaped who you are," he said. "Now we're at a point where we're grateful."

That gratitude is well-earned. In addition to scoring a global breakthrough with the multi-platinum hit "Wondering Why", The Red Clay Strays recently picked up their second consecutive ACM Award and were also recognised as a Billboard Country Power Players Groundbreaker for 2026.

With critical acclaim continuing to pour in and a rapidly growing international fanbase behind them, Grateful feels like another defining milestone for one of modern country and roots music's most exciting success stories.
