The Libertines Announce Outdoor Show at London’s Gunnersbury Park for Summer 2025




London’s own The Libertines are returning to home turf with a massive outdoor show at Gunnersbury Park on Saturday, August 9, 2025, joined by a powerhouse lineup that includes Supergrass, Soft Play, Hak Baker, Lambrini Girls, and Real Farmer. With this highly anticipated summer show, the East London legends promise an unforgettable night that brings together a unique mix of punk, indie, and Britpop.


In an announcement video, The Libertines shared their excitement, recalling the old white mansion in The Lavender Hill Mob, one of their favorite films. The band shared with BabyStep, “We thought we’d bring the Eastern Esplanade mob and some spiky guitars to that Arcadian glade in West London,” they said. "The old white mansion in Gunnersbury Park is in one of our favourite films, The Lavender Hill Mob, so we thought we’d bring the Eastern Esplanade mob and some spiky guitars to that Arcadian glade in West London for a  a good ol’ homecoming knees up."


The lineup is stacked with standout talent. Joining The Libertines will be special guests Supergrass, fresh from a sold-out tour celebrating their debut album, *I Should Coco*. Danny Goffey of Supergrass shared, “We are so pleased to be involved in the Gunnersbury Park gig with The Libertines… Gunnersbury Park is an amazing venue to see bands perform. We first played with The Libertines back in 2002, and we’re thrilled to reunite after 22 years.”


The night also features Soft Play, the explosive punk duo of Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman, and rising star Hak Baker, who’s carving his name as one of the UK’s most compelling artists. Brighton’s Lambrini Girls and Dutch DIY punk band Real Farmer round out the eclectic lineup.
