BabyStep Magazine

Prepare for an unparalleled musical journey as The Great Escape 2024 unveils the first wave of incredible talent and exciting changes. Indie sensation Faye Webster kicks off the festivities at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall, while the dynamic Sid Sriram takes center stage at the BBC Asian Network Stage. Alongside them, 26 emerging artists are set to captivate your musical senses across the stages of TGE24.

But this is more than just a festival; it's the ultimate celebration of new music. With 500 emerging artists from around the globe showcased in 30+ walkable venues across the city and a pop-up festival site on Brighton Beach, TGE is the first place to discover your new favorite artist. Witness them in an intimate setting before they skyrocket to headline major festival stages.

TGE isn't just for music enthusiasts; it's a hotspot for the music industry's keen eyes searching for the next big thing. The festival runs a conference alongside the gigs, featuring insightful panels, topical debates, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities in abundance.

The Alternative Escape, Spotlight Shows, secret gigs, club nights, and spontaneous collaborations add to the festivities, making this weekend in Brighton an absolute must-not-miss. And here's the icing on the cake—the celebrations kick off with a spectacular welcome party hosted by the BPI on Brighton Beach on Wednesday, May 15.

As an extra thrill, we're proud to announce Spain as our Lead Country Partner for 2024, joining hands with The Spanish Wave to present a rich program of showcases, industry panels, and receptions. Delegate passes are on sale now, so stay tuned for more updates and get ready to be part of not just a festival, but a musical odyssey at The Great Escape 2024!
