Records For Palestine launch vinyl raffles to raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians

Two new online vinyl raffles have been launched by Records For Palestine to raise vital funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Announced today (Thursday 5 March), the initiative features two separate Crowdfunder raffles running over the next two months, offering 47 vinyl prizes donated by artists and record labels from across the global music community.

The campaign is split into two categories: one focused on alternative, rock and electronic music, and the other spotlighting jazz, soul, hip-hop and global groove releases. In total, more than 200 artists and 27 record labels have pledged support.

Among the contributors are acclaimed acts including Fontaines D.C., KNEECAP, Nilüfer Yanya, Ezra Collective, Billy Bragg, Yussef Dayes, and Alfa Mist.

The effort is also backed by influential independent labels including Heavenly Recordings, Partisan Records, Cooking Vinyl, Alcopop! Records, Gondwana Records, and Brownswood Recordings, alongside a wide network of grassroots contributors.

Explaining the motivation behind the initiative, Records For Palestine said:

“Many artists have been involved in fundraising and raising awareness from the web to the stage. Records For Palestine provides another way for artists, labels, curators and music fans to pledge support — allowing us to raise funds while also giving artists and labels a platform to stand in visible solidarity with Palestinians.”

All proceeds will support the work of Medical Aid for Palestinians, which provides emergency medical assistance and works with local organisations to help develop long-term healthcare capacity across Palestinian territories.

The raffle draw will take place on 7 May, with winners contacted via email and announced online shortly afterwards. Entry requires a valid UK postal address.

With contributions from across the independent music ecosystem — from artists and labels to community organisations and campaign groups — the initiative continues the long-standing role of music in supporting global solidarity movements.
