Quiet Light Announces 2026 UK & European Headline Tour Following Release of ‘Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2’

Fresh from the release of her acclaimed new mixtape Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2, Austin-based artist, producer and songwriter Quiet Light has announced a headline UK and European tour for autumn 2026. The 11-date run will see the musician, real name Riya Mahesh, bring her dreamlike blend of atmospheric electronica, folk textures and leftfield pop across the continent, kicking off in Barcelona on 28 October before concluding at London's Old Church on 11 November. UK dates include stops in Edinburgh, Manchester and London.

The announcement arrives just weeks after the release of Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2, the highly anticipated follow-up to Mahesh's 2023 project Blue Angel Sparkling Silver. Featuring standout singles Berlin, Postinternetfame and Self Tape, the self-written and self-produced mixtape further cements Quiet Light's reputation as one of alternative pop's most intriguing emerging voices.

Praised by Pitchfork for her ability to weave "atmospheric beatmaking, gauzy harmonies, and impressionistic songwriting" into a distinctive sonic world, Mahesh has steadily built a devoted audience through a catalogue that effortlessly blurs the boundaries between indie-pop, electronic music and intimate bedroom production.

At the heart of Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2 is a deeply personal exploration of contradiction. Created while balancing life as a recording artist with medical school training in Massachusetts, the project reflects on nostalgia, uncertainty and the tension between professional responsibility and creative freedom. As Mahesh explains, "This record is for people who dream about what their life could be like."

Since emerging with her self-titled debut EP in 2020, Quiet Light has attracted widespread critical acclaim from the likes of Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, NPR, NME, The FADER, The Quietus and Stereogum. Her latest release marks her debut project on True Panther and has further established her as one of the most exciting voices operating in the space between experimental pop and electronic music.

With a new live run now confirmed and momentum continuing to build around Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Quiet Light.
