This July, HighRise Entertainment brings the explosive finale of its national tour Lil.Miss.Lady to Brixton House—and if you haven’t caught this genre-smashing, speaker-shaking show yet, this is your last chance.

Running 9th–12th July and 16th–19th July, with a massive afterparty on Friday 11th July, Lil.Miss.Lady lands back in south London where the story truly belongs—soundtracked by basslines that shook a generation, and starring the indomitable Lady Lykez as the titular MC fighting to make her name in a scene that never made space for women.

Born out of a sold-out premiere at The Pit, Barbican, and with full houses at Lowry Salford and Gloucester Guildhall, this final run is part gig, part immersive theatre, part historical reckoning. Directed and co-written by Dominic Garfield (creator of The UK Drill Project), the show takes the crowd into the heart of early 2000s Grime culture—from sweaty Channel U freestyles to radio set warfare—while shining a much-needed light on the contributions and struggles of the scene’s pioneering women.

Inspired by real-life testimonies from legends like Stush, Lioness, Queenie and Baby Blue, Lil.Miss.Lady is both celebration and call-out: a hard-hitting, high-BPM drama set on a dancefloor instead of a stage. There are no seats—just ravers. The crowd becomes part of the action, invited to dance, film, and vibe along to original music and live DJ mixes that cut across Jungle, UKG, Dubstep and Grime.

The show’s explosive afterparty on Friday 11th July brings it home with performances from Layyah (winner of Rap Game UK 2024) and underground icon $tush. Co-curated with GIRLSofGRIME and Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation, it celebrates the new generation of female talent in Grime and UK Rap—proving once again that women in this scene aren’t the exception, they’re the future.

Throughout the tour, HighRise have been walking the walk—partnering with youth music hubs across the UK, from Music Works (Gloucester) to Contact Theatre (Manchester) and Ruff Sqwad (London)—giving young women meaningful industry access through mentoring, studio sessions and live performance.

Lil.Miss.Lady’s cast includes Fahad Shaft (Silo, The Witcher), Joshua Cameron (Supacell), and Alexander Lobo Moreno (Love, Death & Robots), with DJ Kaylee Kay and Aliaano Elali spinning live. Behind the scenes, HighRise’s team includes movement consultant Yami Löfvenberg, vocal coach Toni 'Reese' Robinson, and a creative crew drawn from theatre, rave, and street culture alike.

With a soundtrack built by Lady Lykez, Dominic Garfield, and producers Row.d Beats, Duncan Burton and JR Productions, Lil.Miss.Lady is theatre for the culture—it bumps, it bites, and it demands attention.

Don’t miss your chance to experience one of the most innovative, electrifying shows in the UK today.
