New Body Electric Embrace Emotional Overload on Psychedelic New Single ‘FEEL IT ALL’

What happens when joy, anxiety and sadness hit you all at once? New Body Electric aren’t running from it — they’re leaning all the way in.
Portland trio New Body Electric return with their latest single ‘FEEL IT ALL’, a hazy, groove-heavy rush that captures the exhilarating — and sometimes overwhelming — experience of being completely consumed by your emotions.
Rather than choosing between euphoria and despair, ‘FEEL IT ALL’ sits directly in the space between them. The track explores what it feels like when happiness, sadness and anxiety become impossible to separate, creating an emotional intensity that is both beautiful and unsettling.
“Feel it all” becomes less of a lyric and more of a mantra: an invitation to stop fighting contradictory emotions and accept them for what they are.
That emotional chaos is mirrored in the production. Psychedelic textures, chiming electric guitar and woozy, echoing layers collide with an infectious pop pulse, creating something that feels simultaneously euphoric and slightly unsteady. There are clear nods to Tame Impala and The Strokes, but New Body Electric twist those influences into something distinctly their own — dreamy, energetic and built to move.
The track was produced by Aaron Peterson, who also shares vocal duties with Leah Vautar, while guitarist Evan Smoker brings the crunchy, chiming guitar work that cuts through the haze. Together, the trio create a song that feels deliberately caught between worlds: upbeat but melancholic, weightless but intense, polished but still deeply human.
And that tension feels fitting for a band entering an exciting new chapter.
Formed in Portland, Oregon in 2017, New Body Electric have spent years developing a sound that pulls from indie pop, funk, psychedelic rock and surf rock. Their self-produced catalogue has earned them a growing audience of almost 30,000 monthly Spotify listeners, with their live presence continuing to build alongside their recorded output.
Now, ‘FEEL IT ALL’ feels like a statement of intent. New Body Electric aren't interested in neatly categorising emotions — or their music. They’re embracing the mess, turning emotional overload into something colourful, groovy and impossible to sit still to.
