Master Peace unveils video for ‘My Guitar’ following release of Stupid Kids EP

South East London’s own Master Peace has revealed the video for ‘My Guitar’, the focus track from his brand new EP Stupid Kids, out now via Big Family Music.

Fresh from the EP’s release, ‘My Guitar’ arrives as a punchy, electroclash-tinged indie anthem, pairing distorted, crashing guitars with sharp social commentary. The visual matches the track’s raw, restless energy — amplifying the indie-sleaze chaos that runs through the record.

Led by ‘My Guitar’ and the anthemic title track, Stupid Kids sees Master Peace sharpen his signature fusion of raucous indie, punk spirit and lyrical candour. Produced by heavyweight names Dan Carey and Julian Bunetta, the six-track project is loud, direct and deeply personal — a record about growing up misunderstood and pushing back against expectation.

At its heart, Stupid Kids reflects Peace’s own journey navigating undiagnosed autism and ADHD, resilience and self-belief. Once written off and labelled “a stupid kid”, he now reclaims the phrase as a badge of defiance — dedicating the EP to the overlooked and underestimated.

The project also features previously released cuts ‘There’s No More Underground’, ‘Spin The Block’, ‘Good Times’ and ‘Fuck It Up’ (ft. Declan McKenna), marking his most impactful campaign to date. Tracks from the EP have landed on major Spotify playlists including New Music Friday (UK & US), alongside airplay from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music and Apple Music 1.

The release follows a breakthrough period for the artist. After earning an Ivor Novello Rising Star Award for his 2024 debut album How To Make A Master Peace, he’s completed headline tours across North America and the UK/EU, supported the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Bastille and Duckwrth, and seen two tracks featured on the FC26 soundtrack.

Beyond the music, Peace has also begun speaking openly about his experiences with neurodiversity through his Instagram series Peace Of Mind, while raising funds for music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins at his recent sold-out ‘Peace McKenna’ fan event.

With Stupid Kids, Master Peace doesn’t just turn up the volume — he doubles down on honesty. It’s fearless, fun and unfiltered, cementing his place as one of the UK’s most compelling new-generation rock stars.
