LIDO Festival 2026: Maribou State Announced as First Headliner

ree

London’s newest summer festival is back. LIDO Festival returns to Victoria Park in 2026, and today the first headliner drops: Maribou State will take over Saturday 20 June. The full line-up and festival programme are still under wraps, but tickets go on sale Friday 24 October at 10am via lidofestival.co.uk.

Hertfordshire duo Chris Davids and Liam Ivory are no strangers to London stages. From their first show at Oslo to a sold-out Alexandra Palace earlier this year, Maribou State have carved a reputation for genre-fluid, emotive electronic music that balances dancefloor grooves with introspective textures. Their live shows — praised by The Guardian for being “full of committed, emotionally resonant performances” — promise to set the tone for LIDO 2026.

“We’ve made some of our best memories touring in London… We’re over the moon to announce our biggest show yet in the city next summer, alongside a line up of some of our favourite artists. This is going to be special. See you all next June,” say the duo.

LIDO Festival made a splash in its inaugural 2025 edition, headlined by Massive Attack, Jamie xx, Charli XCX, London Grammar and more, all while embedding sustainability at its core. The festival powered stages with solar-charged batteries, hydrogen and portable energy solutions, implemented zero landfill waste, and offered community arts and wellbeing activities — proving large-scale events can be eco-conscious without sacrificing experience.

Named one of IQ Magazine’s 2025 Green Guardians, LIDO continues to push the envelope on sustainability while curating hand-picked line-ups programmed by the headliners themselves. Expect more news on additional headliners, daily programmes, and community events soon.

If 2025 was any indicator, LIDO Festival 2026 promises to combine music, culture, and sustainability into one unmissable London summer experience.
