Today marks the highly awaited release of Joy (Anonymous)'s latest track, "JOY (Push The Button)," an official rework of the Sugababes' iconic 00's hit, "Push The Button." The duo, riding high on the success of their sold-out Australia/NZ tour and the recent release of their record Cult Classics in November, adds another electrifying chapter to their musical journey.

Fans have been eagerly anticipating the official release of "JOY (Push The Button)," a track that has been generating buzz since Joy incorporated it into their sets throughout 2023, including a performance at Alexandra Palace with Fred again. The duo's edit, combining the Sugababes' timeless vocals with a fresh garage feel, has become a dancefloor anthem, leaving fans online in a frenzy as they searched for the track. The moment has finally arrived, and the duo delivers on the anticipation.

Originally conceived as a bootleg, the track gained the official stamp of approval from the Sugababes themselves after they heard it. Joy remarks, "Sugababes' 'Push The Button' is an iconic track, so we had some fun in the studio making a bootleg version that we didn’t expect to put out. But the reception and support were amazing, and then to hear the girls themselves loved it was pretty cool. So we all got together and thought, no better Christmas present than giving people what they’ve been asking for. Merry Christmas."

The Sugababes share their excitement about the collaboration: "We heard this bootleg of Push The Button being played all summer, and the reaction was insane, so we’re excited to now team up officially with Joy Anonymous to release the song as a special present to you guys to see out 2023. Merry Christmas 🎄."

The track's release caps off a phenomenal year for Joy (Anonymous), marked by accolades such as being named a Future Artist on BBC Radio 1, a standout performance on a barge for the vital Save Our Scene, and the joyous release of their album Cult Classics. The group also achieved a milestone by selling out their largest headline show at the iconic Roundhouse. Looking ahead, Joy (Anonymous) is set to tour the EU/UK in 2024, continuing their upward trajectory. See below for tour dates and purchase tickets HERE
