1. “Cowboy” is being called your most vulnerable track yet. Can you share what inspired the storytelling behind it and how your personal experiences shaped the song?

Cowboy honestly came straight from heartbreak. I’d just landed in LA and I had a session with a producer I know pretty well. Instead of writing right away, I just started talking about everything that happened and It felt more like therapy than anything. The more I opened up, the more I started to understand why things ended the way they did, not in a bitter way, but with compassion. That’s when the whole concept of Cowboy started taking shape. It’s not about dragging someone through the mud, it’s about reflection, healing, and realising that some people just aren’t meant to stay in your story forever. It’s closure in the form of a song.

2. Your music blends pop with country soul in a really unique way. Which artists or songs influenced this fusion, and how did you discover your signature sound?

It’s definitely been a journey figuring out what my sound actually is. I think going through something painful kind of forces you to strip everything back and get real about what you truly want and for me, that was writing music that means something. I’ve always loved emotional, storytelling style songs, but after that breakup, something in me just switched. I was like, “Okay this is the artist I want to be.” Artists like Avery Anna, Kacey Musgraves, and Noah Rinker definitely influenced that shift. They made me fall in love with that mix of heartfelt lyrics, strong melodies, and raw emotion which is the lane I feel most myself in now.

3. You’ve amassed a strong following on TikTok and Instagram in just a few months. How has connecting with fans online shaped your approach to songwriting and sharing your music?

I think the second you stop trying to be who you think you’re supposed to be and just show up as yourself, everything starts to click. Being able to connect with people online has pushed me to be way more honest in my writing. Everyone’s dealing with something even if it doesn’t look like it from the outside and I always want my music to be a safe space for that. If a song I write makes someone feel understood or a little less alone, then I’ve done my job. That’s honestly the best part of all of this.

4. You’ve described “Cowboy” as feeling like watching a movie in slow motion. How do you approach creating that cinematic, immersive feeling in your music?

For me, it’s all about creating a world that people can feel themselves in. That means painting pictures with the lyrics, building melodies that feel dreamy and nostalgic, and layering in production that supports the emotion of the song. With Cowboy we really focused on using organic elements like the guitars, textures, and live drums to build that cinematic vibe. All those little details make it feel like you’re watching a memory unfold in real time.

5. Growing up around petrol heads and boxing fanatics gave you a grounded, strong-willed energy. How does that upbringing influence the themes of strength and vulnerability in your music today?

My dad and brother are both massive petrol heads and F1 and boxing were the only sports we’d really watch growing up, so there was always this tough, get back up when you fall mentality in our house. My dad always taught us resilience, and that mindset has been such a huge help navigating the music industry. But I’ve also learned that strength and vulnerability can exist at the same time. Writing about painful experiences is hard, you’re basically putting your heart on full display but there’s so much power in that. It’s scary and exposing, but if it helps someone else feel seen, then it’s completely worth it.
