Tickets for Green Man 2026 have completely sold out in just over an hour, making it the UK’s first festival to sell out for the fourth year running — and all this before a single act has been announced. The festival will return to the Black Mountains in Wales’ Bannau Brycheiniog National Park from 20–23 August 2026, promising its signature blend of music, arts, and community.
Entering its 24th year, Green Man continues to set the benchmark for independent UK festivals. The 25,000-capacity-per-day event has earned universal praise, with The Guardian, The Times, Rolling Stone UK, and DIY Magazine among the outlets giving five-star reviews for its 2025 edition. World-renowned music programming sits alongside comedy, literature, science talks, cinema, circus, wellness areas, and family-friendly zones such as Little Folk and Somewhere, ensuring there is something for all ages.
Festival owner Fiona Stewart said:"Diolch yn fawr to the loveliest audience in the universe, we can’t wait to see your faces in a Welsh field when you join us for Green Man 2026, Cariad Mawr."
Green Man has a long history of nurturing emerging talent, with artists like Fontaines DC, Michael Kiwanuka, Self Esteem, First Aid Kit, and Kae Tempest all giving early, seminal performances on its stages. The festival also prides itself on independence: refusing sponsorship, showcasing Welsh food and drink producers, and championing accessibility and sustainability through the Green Man Trust, which supports local communities, artists, and science engagement projects.
Tickets for Green Man 2026 are sold out, with resale available exclusively through the festival’s official partner, Tixel.
