GiGi Polar shares new single ‘IN TOO DEEP’ and announces London support show

London-based alternative artist GiGi Polar continues to build momentum with his latest single ‘IN TOO DEEP’, out now.
Leaning into a sharper, punk-tinged alternative sound, the track explores emotional addiction and the pull of relationships that feel impossible to escape. Built around driving melodies and restless energy, the song captures the tension between vulnerability and self-control, with the repeated hook — “I’m in too deep” — circling the push and pull of desire and restraint.
Born in Switzerland to German and Indonesian parents, Polar has been steadily carving out his place in the alternative scene. The new single follows ‘XXX IN DESIGNER’, which picked up traction across social media and streaming platforms, introducing his raw, genre-blurring approach to a growing audience.
The release also lands as Polar continues to take his sound to the stage. After recently performing his debut London headline show with a full band at The Waiting Room, he’s now set to support rising German alternative artist Dews Pegahorn at Strongroom, London on April 4.
With ‘IN TOO DEEP’, Polar pushes further into the darker edges of his sound — pairing punchy alt-rock textures with emotionally charged songwriting.
