Finn Falcon Turns Global Friendship Into an Ethereal Debut EP on Dogs Forever

Finn Falcon is looking across time zones, oceans and the modern world’s growing sense of disconnection on his debut EP, Dogs Forever.
The New Zealand-born, London-based artist has returned with his first major body of work since 2022’s Light (with BENEE), and Dogs Forever is a heartfelt ode to the friends who keep us connected when distance makes it difficult.
Across 10 tracks, Falcon moves between leftfield pop, hip hop and electronic music, building an atmospheric world that feels somewhere between reality and escapism. At the centre of it sits Can You See The Moon? — a quietly expansive track built around one simple idea: no matter where we are in the world, we’re all looking at the same sky.
“We all are looking up at the same moon,” Falcon explains. “Someone's moon is during the day, someone's moon is at night. To all my dogs around the globe, can you see the moon too?”
It’s a fitting mission statement for an EP about friendship in an increasingly disconnected world. Dog Boy Summer, Mean Sun, Clocks, SuperStar and Can We Be Friends Forever all add to a project that feels less like a traditional collection of songs and more like stepping into Falcon’s own universe.
That sense of world-building is central to Dogs Forever. Ethereal production and intimate songwriting give the project an almost dreamlike quality, while Falcon’s electronic palette keeps things unpredictable. There are shades of the leftfield experimentation associated with artists like Bladee and EsDeeKid, but the project ultimately feels distinctly his own.
And after keeping a relatively low profile since his sole release in 2022, Dogs Forever marks a clear new chapter.
For Falcon, the message is simple: distance might change where your friends are, but it doesn't have to change how close you feel to them.
The moon is the same. The friendship is forever.
