fingerbleed makes a striking first impression with immersive double A-side 'About Us / PROTO'

Nijmegen-born, Amsterdam-based producer, guitarist and songwriter fingerbleed arrives with intent on his debut double A-side release, 'About Us / PROTO'—a pair of tracks that showcase two sides of an artist already carving out a singular sonic identity.

Blending euphoric electronics, textured guitar work and emotionally charged songwriting, the release acts as the first glimpse into fingerbleed's forthcoming EP, Instant Gratification. "I made this song after a break up," fingerbleed explains. "I felt really bad and took all my stuff and went to nature to make music. What came out of that trip was 'About Us'. It's about showing your worth in this world and the excitement of life despite the ups and downs."

Its counterpart, 'PROTO', shifts gears completely. Distorted, relentless and driven by pounding electronic production, the track embraces raw instinct, pushing its abrasive sound design to exhilarating extremes while highlighting fingerbleed's fascination with the physical power of sound.
