Festivals Goers Gear Up For Polaris Festival, Switzerland
Switzerland's iconic mountaintop festival, Polaris, is back for its eighth edition, promising two electrifying weekends of cutting-edge electronic music against the breathtaking backdrop of the Alps. Taking place on November 17-18 and 24-25 in Verbier, one of the world's premier mountaintop ski resorts, Polaris offers an immersive experience with a massive dome providing 360-degree views of the majestic surroundings.
This year's lineup boasts an impressive roster of international electronic music maestros, drawing fans from around the globe to dance closer to the sky. The festival's unique music curation blends DJ and live performances, creating an unforgettable moment atop the mountain with incredible sounds and stunning landscapes.
The opening night, on Friday, November 17, kicks off with a collaboration with the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, featuring a concert by Marc Rebillet. The night continues with a 4-hour set from vibration shifter Natasha Diggs, performances by Kink LIVE, Marcel Dettmann, and Cody Currie.
Saturday, November 18, sees the return of Detroit Love, Carl Craig's brainchild celebrating the sounds and love of Detroit. The night features a rare 4-hour set from Sound Signature label head Theo Parrish, alongside Detroit soul sensations Dames Brown Live, Marcellus Pittman, and Specter.
Weekend two brings back Dixon, whose high-frequency beats elevate the mountain experience. Joining him are Gerd Janson, the sounds of the moment with Hunee and Paula Tape, and newcomers Trikk and Tai Lokun.
The grand finale on the closing night, Saturday, November 25, welcomes the return of a very special guest, Laurent Garnier, for a mountain-top closing set. The night also features the master of deep house, Ron Trent, making a comeback to Europe after seven years. The full power energy of Mr. G Live is not to be missed, alongside DJ Deep and Bel-Air LTD.
