DMA’S ARE BACK, BABY — AND THEY’VE GOT THE SOUNDTRACK TO PROVE IT

Australian indie favourites DMA’S have officially kicked off a bold new chapter with the release of their latest single, ‘My Baby’s Place’ — a track that leans into nostalgia while pushing their sound forward with renewed confidence.

Out now alongside a visually emotive music video, ‘My Baby’s Place’ captures a hazy, heartfelt sense of longing — the kind that’s long been a hallmark of the trio’s most beloved anthems. It’s familiar, yes, but far from stuck in the past.

Frontman Matt Mason describes the track as a balancing act between “gratitude and destitution,” with the song coming together during a period of personal and creative transition. Crucially, the band took full control this time — self-producing the track in their Glebe studio in Sydney, marking a clear evolution in how they craft their music.

And the timing couldn’t be more fitting.

The release arrives as DMA’S gear up to celebrate a decade since their breakout debut Hills End — the album that launched them from Sydney locals to global indie mainstays. To mark the milestone, they’ll play a special one-off anniversary show at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on March 27, already sold out and set to be a nostalgic high point for fans.

Over the past ten years, DMA’S have built an impressive legacy: four critically acclaimed albums, hundreds of millions of streams, multiple platinum records, and a firm foothold in both Australian and UK charts — with THE GLOW and How Many Dreams? reaching #4 and #3 in the UK respectively.
