Australian indie-rock favourites DMA'S are set to celebrate the release of their forthcoming self-titled fifth album with a run of intimate UK acoustic record store shows this August.
Beginning in Kingston on 24 August, the exclusive run will see the trio perform stripped-back sets and meet fans at record stores and venues across the UK, with stops in Manchester, Middlesbrough, Dundee, Leeds, Norwich and Bristol. The special performances offer a rare chance to experience DMA'S up close before they embark on their major UK & Ireland headline tour in February 2027.
The announcement comes as anticipation continues to build for the band's self-titled album, due for release on 21 August via RCA UK. Their latest single, 'Killing Time', follows the acclaimed releases 'My Baby's Place', 'Heatin Park' and 'Hurracane', showcasing a confident new era that expands on the band's unmistakable indie-rock sound while pushing into fresh sonic territory.
Written and recorded between the band's studio in Glebe, Sydney and Los Angeles, the album was co-produced by DMA'S alongside Grammy Award-nominated producer Lach Bostock (Mansionair), with additional contributions from Jimi Somewhere and Styalz Fuego.
Renowned for commanding festival stages including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Splendour in the Grass, the acoustic dates present fans with a unique opportunity to hear the new material in an intimate setting before the songs are brought to arenas and theatres across the UK and Ireland next year.
DMA'S' headline tour begins in Southampton on 1 February 2027 and culminates with a landmark show at London's Eventim Apollo on 12 February, before continuing through Liverpool, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin.
The new record follows an extraordinary run for the Sydney trio, whose four previous albums—Hills End, For Now, THE GLOW and How Many Dreams?—have cemented them as one of Australia's biggest musical exports. With more than 500 million global streams, four multi-platinum singles, an ARIA Award for Best Group, and a catalogue that includes the iconic Like A Version cover of Cher's 'Believe', DMA'S continue to go from strength to strength.
