Dance Without Issues Returns
Dance Without Issues is a party put together by Leeds mainstay and producer Casika - who is a DJ and Producer who has cut his teeth playing the pubs, club and houses in Leeds. Last year saw him support artists such as Dr Bannana and Patrick Topping, whilst continuing down the path of production for one of our favourite labels around - Do As You Please.
When speaking about the return of the party he shared "We are happy to bring you our first line up after almost a year away. We’ve handpicked a lineup of top selectors in the Leeds area, and we aim not to disappoint! See you on 02/02/2023 at Distrikt from 7pm-2am".
Here is a breakdown of the artists playing. Dresner will be gracing the decks - having supported Krytal Klear, as well as playing an incredible set at Sheaf Street as part of an NHS Fundraiser that none of us will be quick to forget.
Whatever you do be sure not to miss lyricist JayR's live set - he's made serious moves in Leeds playing at a series of hip-hop nights. Meanwhile Beccs Vernon will also be playing - she's had an incredible year supporting the likes of Danny Howard. Make sure to check out her monthly-mix series Beccs Selects.
Daisy Jane was one of the highlights from our recent event with Theo Kottis, which saw her, and Primal Sound produce an unmissable, tribal-influenced disco set on the terrace at Distrikt. We were so impressed that she’s going to be taking the reins with Tom Lawson at Better Days festival tomorrow and will also be on the support for our next event at Wire with Jansons.
UK Producer and DJ “Myco.” formerly in the Duo "Symetrik" will also be playing at Distrikt that night, he's a name that may have flown under your radar before, but he has secured gigs alongside the likes of Steve Lawler. The Peterborough-born, Leeds-based Dean Worrall host of underground party Emergency Entrance will be gracing the decks. Also, be sure to check out newcomers Vincenzo and Rob Denison.
