Black Deer Festival 2024: A Weekend to Remember
The Black Deer Festival returned to Eridge Park, Kent for its fifth year in 2024, delivering an unforgettable weekend. Headliners Joe Bonamassa, Sheryl Crow, and Rufus Wainwright set the tone with electrifying performances, while Seasick Steve, The Shires, Damian Lewis, Ward Thomas, and Rosanne Cash & John Leventhal dazzled on the main stage.
Festival-goers indulged in the culinary delights of the livefire stage, participated in eating competitions, rode a mechanical bull, tried their hand at axe throwing, and enjoyed thrilling rides. The Young Folk Adventures area kept the kids entertained, while vintage clothing pop-ups and the Sarum Metal Country stall offered unique shopping and tattoo experiences.
The Ridge stage became a crowd favorite, showcasing talents like Dylan Gossett, Twinnie, Jalen Ngonda, Alyssa Bonagura, Bess Atwell, and Jarrod Dickenson. The Cafe Nero stage kept the festival alive from morning till evening, the Supajam stage drew in crowds from all over, and Haley’s Bar kept the vibes going into the early hours.
