Bassi Fox Returns From Hiatus With Dance Project

Get ready for a musical treat as Bassi Fox, the rising star in the music scene, gears up to launch his 3rd single, "I Can Share My Love with You," on August 25th. After making waves with his first two solo releases, Bassi is back with what he dubs his "happiest sounding song ever." His move intro electronic music has been done expertly, his latest track is our tune of the day.

Breaking away from his folktronica roots, Bassi Fox has taken a bold leap into a livelier sonic territory, reminiscent of acclaimed artists like Fred Again, Jamie XX, and Bonobo. His debut track, "Hey (nothing like I thought it'd be)," dropped this May and has already garnered over 190,000 organic Spotify streams. Following suit, his subsequent release, 'I Still Think About You,' is rapidly gaining traction, both tracks enjoying robust backing from BBC Introducing in the Southwest. Notably, "Hey" snagged the coveted "Track of the Week" title, leading Bassi to grace BBC Cornwall with a lively interview and a 20-minute mix. With an exciting pipeline of solo releases scheduled every 4-6 weeks, Bassi Fox is primed to unleash his creative prowess.

Reflecting on his shift from London and his transition to dance music, Bassi Fox shares, "I felt fragmented in the city, pulled in too many musical directions. Moving to the countryside allowed me to rediscover my singular purpose. I've embraced the infectious energy of dance and electronic music, crafting positive beats in response to the division in the world." This transformation marks a departure from his signature melancholic ballads, embracing an invigorating and optimistic sonic realm.

For the uninitiated, Bassi's band, Mt. Wolf, enjoyed a meteoric rise – featured in Clash Magazine's 'Ones To Watch,' dominating Hype Machine charts, and gracing prestigious venues like London's Union Chapel and Heaven. They clinched the PRS Momentum Fund and the BPI Music Growth Export Scheme, captivating audiences at major festivals including The Great Escape, SXSW, and Glastonbury. A headlining tour spanning the UK, Europe, and America followed, with standout performances at iconic venues like London's Scala and NYC's Knitting Factory. The band cultivated a dedicated online fanbase, amassing hundreds of thousands of monthly Spotify listeners.

As Bassi Fox's musical journey continues to evolve, his latest single promises to be the crescendo of his solo success – a harmonious blend of positivity and rhythm that's bound to captivate hearts and move bodies in unison.
