On July 20th, Manchester isn’t just getting a new drink—it’s getting a full-blown cultural eruption. To launch their bold new Muck Pit Brew, a tropical, beer-meets-rum hybrid, Captain Morgan is taking over the city with a one-day celebration of flavour, music and full-tilt chaos. And at the heart of it? A once-in-a-lifetime back-to-back DJ set between viral sensation Badger and acid house pioneer A Guy Called Gerald, live inside the towering walls of Manchester Cathedral.
Earlier in the day, a rogue fleet of branded vans will criss-cross the city with surprise pop-ups and free samples, hitting up much-loved local haunts like Directors Box and Quarter House. At each stop, Badger and Gerald themselves will make appearances, pulling pints, spinning tunes, and spreading the gospel of Muck Pit—a drink designed to, quite literally, muck up the usual.

Part underground rave, part sacred ritual, and part rogue tasting tour, the launch of Muck Pit Brew is about more than just refreshing drinks—it’s about two generations of musical innovators coming together in one of the city’s most iconic spaces to blow the roof off tradition.
