AlphaTheta teams up with Elijah for limited edition OMNIS-DUO DJ system

AlphaTheta has announced a special collaboration with London DJ and cultural commentator Elijah, unveiling a limited-edition OMNIS-DUO all-in-one DJ system featuring a custom design inspired by his Yellow Squares project.

The release sees the portable DJ unit reimagined with a bold yellow skin that carries Elijah’s mantra: “If you love music, you should learn how to DJ.” The design draws directly from the visual language of Yellow Squares, the creative platform he launched in 2021 to explore music culture, community building and creative ecosystems.

Since its beginnings as a series of Instagram posts, Yellow Squares has grown into a wide-ranging body of work that includes a book, album, visual installations, billboard campaigns and remixes of Elijah’s own music.

Speaking about the collaboration, Elijah explained that the project reflects his long-running mission to broaden access to DJ culture.

“I write about what being a DJ means in the most expansive way possible, and I believe we are at the beginning of another wave of accessibility of the art form,” he said. “Whether that's for casual DJs at home with friends and family, or the DJs that have inspired me over the last four years taking DJing to the streets and finding new ways of platforming music, artists and spaces.”

He added that the OMNIS-DUO has played a key role in that movement toward more flexible, mobile DJing.

“Being able to embody my ideas in hardware with AlphaTheta is an honour.”

The collaboration aligns closely with AlphaTheta’s own philosophy of making DJing more accessible. Keleigh Batchelor, Marketing Manager at AlphaTheta, said Elijah’s vision matched the brand’s belief in music as a universal language.

Designed for portability and spontaneity, the OMNIS-DUO allows DJs to perform in non-traditional spaces — from living rooms and rooftops to outdoor gatherings — reflecting Elijah’s wider ideas about community-driven music culture.

The distinctive skins themselves are produced by German company DJ Skins, known for transforming DJ setups at clubs, festivals and home studios around the world.
