Bandcamp Picks: Bailey Ibbs

Over the past couple of years, Bailey Ibbs has been a rising force in the world of UK Garage. Two years ago, Bailey uploaded his smooth, loungey 2 step edit of YGG's 'Strikers' to his SoundCloud page. Two years later, and it has over 75,000 streams, and counting. Bailey is now head of label Night Service, and has an impressive discography spanning from UKG and breaks to electro. With appearances on Dim Sum Records, Dansu Discs, ME1 Records and more, Bailey has solidified his position as a heavyweight in his game.

We decided that for our Easter Bandcamp Picks, we would invite Bailey to provide us with his top Bandcamp selections from the last few months.

Rene Wise - Pleasure note

Kicking off with this huge EP from Rene Wise, a recent find for me and a top name for anyone who loves that raw hypnotic Techno sound!

Sepehr - Consortium

This one is a recent find for me, came out in last year. Straight sweaty basement vibes.

Cadence Weapon ft. Jacques Greene - Senna

Jacques production is next level here, the melody that runs throughout the record hits different, along with the lyrics about legendary race-car driver Aryton Senna, can’t be this one.

Drumskull - Negative 7

Played the original in a few mixes lately, solid breaks and the remixes can’t be faulted, I mean just look at the names!

Listen HERE.

Holoe - Inhaler EP

Straight up ridiculous electro right here, I can’t wait to hear this on some funktion 1’s! I just know this one will end up doing the rounds on the identification of music facebook page!

Listen HERE.

Sansibar - Caller Of The Storms

Sansibar is such an enigma to me, always flying below the radar but every release is top quality and this track is now different, Caller Of The Storms gives me that factory meltdown techno feel and I love it!
