Run DMC Announce Vinyl Compilation

Legendary hip hop group Run DMC have announced that they will be releasing a 12 track compilation as a tribute to Jam Master Jay, who was fatally shot in 2002. Set for release via 12on12 in December, the double disc package will see only 500 hand-numbered editions for sale.

The tracks themselves will be a collection of influential numbers that helped craft the group's iconic sound, inlcuding music from The Sugarhill Gang, Afrika Bambaataa, and even Kraftwerk. The album will feature this artwork from Los Angeles artist, Reena Tolentino.
