Monthly Line-Up List: Easter 18'

Spring is finally upon us… It’s been a long winter of having to come home from nights out in the freezing cold but April is the month where that all begins to change. As the weather heats up in April, so to do the line-up’s. Enjoy!

April 1st:

Community w/ MCDE, Kamaal Williams and the Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra

@Albert Hall, Manchester

The 2,500 capacity former chapel plays host to Manchester promoter Community’s 11th birthday celebrations. It plays host to 8 hours of live jazz, funk, soul and afrobeats from the renowned MCDE, Kamaal Williams, Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra, Rahaan and Henry Wu. Set to be a very special night!

April 1st:

Floating Points (All Day Long)

@Fabric, London

Catching Floating Points for an 8 hour set anywhere is beyond a rarity, but to be able to see him for 8 hours at a place with arguably the best sound rig in the world is something that cannot be missed! Watch him dig through his crates of supreme house, jazz, soul and more in a set which will push the boundaries of anything seen at the club before. There simply is no better place to be on this Easter Sunday.

April 1st:

Outlook Festival 2018 London Launch Party

@Egg, London

Bigggg line-up to launch Croatia’s Outlook party in London. They bring together the UK’s very best in vintage jungle, dubstep and UK garage. All 4 rooms pack some heat, splitting each room for a different sound. This night is sure to please any dnb, jungle, garage or bass head in London on Easter Sunday.

April’s Regular Events:

April 6th:

Ben UFO b2b Joy Orbison

@ XOYO, London

One of the standout parties in Ben UFO’s seasonal residency at XOYO, he goes b2b with Joy Orbison all night long. Carrying similar sounds in the form of Techno, Two-Step, Jungle and Dub, the pairing will bring the crowd for a journey ultimately steeped in London Sound. Room 2 carries UK heavyweight Jon Rust, for his only booked club appearance of 2018 the up and coming Covco. Can’t say anything bad about this one apart from the extortionate ticket prices… but I can only imagine patrons will get what they pay for with this one.

April 13th:

Make Me 10th Birthday

@ Corsica Studios, London

London Promoters Make Me put together a wonderful line-up to celebrate their 10th birthday, hosting a “10 hour, 3 room celebration of all that is great in underground dance music.” They call on some old friends with the legendary Regis and Mike Servito and some of the new Make Me protégé’s in Courtesy and Willow to make this a birthday party to remember.

April 13th:

Underground presents Amelie Lens

@Underground, Liverpool

Amelie Lens’ meteoric rise is unparalleled by anyone in the world of techno over the last year. Going from relative anonymity to being one of the leading women in Techno outside of the UK. In her only UK club set booked so far this year, it’s no surprise how this one has his final release so fast.

April 20th:

Love International Warmup ft Craig Richards b2b Midland, Willow and Lo Shea.

@ Hope Works, Sheffield

Bringing together the legendary fabric resident Craig Richards and Graded label boss Midland to go b2b in an extended set. The pair are joined by Willow, who returns to club for her third time after killing previous sets.

April 21st:

Hunee, Palms Trax and Kemet Deep Sessions

@ Fabric, London

Hunee returns to Fabric on the 21st, bringing his matchless persona and collection of deep cuts to more than satisfy the fabric faithful. He is joined by the ever-growing Palms Trax, fresh off his Dekmantel release and I can only imagine/hope a b2b is in order between the two of these. The night also features sets from Susanne Kraft, Manoo and Hyenah which are not to be missed!

April 27th:

Mister Saturday Night (All Night Long)

@ Phonox, London

Any time I see an all night long set from Mister Saturday night it’s hard not to recommend. Leaders in New York’s Dance music revival, the pair have been running legendary audience led parties for the last decade all over the world. Their own personal record spells for a great night but pair them with arguably one of the most magical clubs in London and it’s hard to see how this one won’t be something special.
